About Herrera The Survivor!

Herrera The Survivor! is a white and orange tabby with quite a story. She arrived at the rescue in fall 2024, coming in shy and uncertain with her siblings. Later, she was diagnosed with a heart murmur and FIP, a tough and often fatal disease for cats. But Herrera’s luck turned—she responded well to treatment, her bloodwork is strong, and her recent cardiology exam came back clear. Now spayed, vaccinated, and negative for feline viruses, she’s finally ready for a place to call home. Herrera prefers a quieter environment, where patience and gentle attention come standard. She gets along well with other cats and isn't aggressive, though she needs a little time to settle in. Still, she’s playful, purrs generously, and loves interactive toys, fresh water, and Churu treats. You’ll find her talking when she wants attention or food. Herrera’s resilience shines through—she’s sweet, affectionate, and ready for her next chapter. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
