Evee is a 24-pound spayed female, estimated to be 3 years old, who’s just arrived in Boulder, CO from Texas. She has a unique story, rescued from a feral situation with her family. Initially very shut down, Evee has made significant strides learning to walk on a leash and is beginning to embrace her new life. She thrives on predictability and structure, so a calm household with a steady routine is essential. Evee would benefit greatly from the companionship of another calm dog. She has formed a bond with male dogs and is especially close to Buck, a chill companion she met during her recent journey. Right now, she’s quite wary of cats, so a neutral cat would be best if there are any. Evee has acclimated well to her crate, although she does show some restlessness at night, indicating she may be ready for more activity as she builds confidence. Evee needs a patient family excited to celebrate her small victories as she learns the ropes of house dog life. She comes with training support to help her continue growing. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on basic vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies). She is also undergoing heartworm treatment, which is covered by our partner vet.
