When he arrived at the shelter, he was scared and needed to gain weight, but he has since thrived, gaining much of what he lost. Maximus has become a favorite among the staff and volunteers who appreciate his curious and eager nature. While he enjoys meeting other dogs, he still requires additional socialization.
