About Jessie
Your new best friend is just one click away. With Jessie, some lucky family will hit the companion pet jackpot! She offers an ideal blend of cuddle bug, couch potato, and playtime partner. Now six years old, Jessie is truly enjoying life. Her journey began in West Virginia, where she arrived at a shelter after being thrown from a moving vehicle. Despite her traumatic start and being very underweight, Jessie hasn't let this affect her spirit—she greets everyone with open arms and a loving heart, showing unwavering trust and gratitude to all. Jessie is the embodiment of a true companion: she adores people, loves car rides, enjoys a special treat like a pup cup, and treats everyone with utmost gentleness and kindness. She delights in ball-chasing—using her sharp mind to thoroughly search the yard, almost like a professional search and rescue dog! Preferred as the only dog in the home, Jessie is not suited to living with cats, as she is quite interested in them. Eligible for the Paws for Senior program, she makes an exceptional candidate for anyone looking for a lower-key, loving addition to the family. Easy-going and housebroken, Jessie is also crate trained, knows basic commands, learns quickly, and is especially food motivated. She may jump up in excitement when first meeting people, but she is learning to respond well with a gentle correction. Above all, she is a world-class cuddler! Make Jessie a part of your family and let her bring companionship, joy, and love into your life. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
