About Goosifer
Meet Goosifer, a gentle and loving Bullmastiff looking for a serene, patient home. At about 4-5 years old, this hefty boy weighs 146 pounds and, despite his size, has a heart that's even larger. Recovering from a broken leg, he spent several months facing uncertainty at the shelter but has shown incredible resilience and strength. After being rescued, he is now healing in a foster home and is adjusting well to his new family life. Goosifer is shy, especially around fast movements, so he needs a calm and understanding approach. While he’s good with children, interactions should be gentle and slow. He gets along well with other dogs and has proven to be an excellent house guest in his foster home. Although he might growl or bark when startled, his affection shines through once he feels secure. He loves to be close, leaning against you for scratches and even snoring contentedly while he sleeps. With a personality that blossoms with patience, Goosifer is ready for a forever home where he can feel safe and loved. If you think you can provide that, an application to meet him is the first step!
