Despite her small size of just 6 lbs, she has a big heart and loves to play with other dogs, although she needs a bit of guidance in reading their cues, especially around mellow seniors who might not appreciate her lively antics. She’s great with kids but keep an eye on any small objects lying around, as her curiosity can lead her to investigate things she shouldn't. Though she loves her humans, Elvie can get a bit barky when someone is at the door or when loud noises occur, so her new family should be mindful—especially if they live in a shared wall situation. She walks well on a leash but is a little stubborn about vet visits. In the car, though, she’s a perfect passenger, curling up for the ride.
