About Chase
Meet Chase ❤️ Chase is a remarkable young boy who’s journey to safety has been anything but easy. Abandoned near a gas station in southern Illinois, he faced months alone, scared and unsure of who to trust. Despite his challenging circumstances, Chase showed a glimmer of hope, lingering nearby, desperate for help but held back by fear. For a long stretch, Chase survived on the streets, even overcoming serious injuries to his femur and pelvis. While some may have succumbed to despair, he adapted and kept moving forward with determination. Miraculously, a caring volunteer was finally able to bring him to safety after weeks of patience. What we found was surprising. Chase adores people, displaying a friendly and affectionate nature that’s heartwarming. After experiencing such isolation, he still believes in the kindness of humans. Now, he’s ready for a loving home. Chase is undergoing treatment for heartworms and would thrive in a foster-to-adopt situation, where he can recover in a safe and nurturing environment. His leg has healed with a slight limp, but he’s not letting that hold him back. After months of hardship, it’s time for Chase to find the home he truly deserves.
