About Gabriel
Your new best friend is just one click away. Gabriel was rescued from a rural shelter in the Carolinas after facing significant injuries from a car accident that resulted in a broken leg and eye trauma. Despite these hardships, he bounced back quickly after surgeries for his leg and eye, showing an incredible spirit and resilience. Though Gabriel is just a couple of years old, he has all the heart and energy of a puppy. He is extremely curious, energetic, and playful, making every day an adventure. His favorite activities include playing tug, chewing on toys, and enjoying stuffed animals and his beloved Jolly Ball. When the excitement is over, Gabriel is just as happy snuggling up with his people. He is making great progress with house training and is actively learning leash and crate manners. Gabriel is very smart—he already knows commands like sit, kennel up, and hush. His goofy, sometimes rowdy antics are part of his charm, and he always aims to please. Gabriel enjoys the company of other playful dogs and would thrive in a home with a fenced yard. He's well-suited as either a solo pet or with a compatible dog companion. A family interested in canine sports or engaging activities would be wonderful, especially one committed to helping him grow into the best dog he can be. Born under the sign of Virgo, he's likely to enjoy structure and learning new routines! After all he's been through, Gabriel is more than ready for a loving home where he can play, cuddle, and finally get the affection he deserves. He's currently being fostered in the St. Louis area. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
