About Kennynot blind

Kenny, currently in foster care in Seymour, CT, is a lively and friendly pup with a bit of charm. This small, one-year-old mixed breed dog has a joyful spirit and, despite some initial confusion about his vision, he is indeed not blind. Rescued from the streets of Ohio, he quickly adjusted to his foster home, where he enjoys the company of other dogs and loves to play tug of war. With his gentle demeanor, he has not destroyed any toys and keeps his playtime light-hearted. Kenny is house trained and crate trained, showing remarkable behavior at home. While he may bark briefly when settling in for the night, he sleeps soundly without accidents. He walks well on a leash, but keep an eye on him when outdoors; he loves to chase after critters! His food preferences lean towards Purina One with gravy and he enjoys peanut butter and chicken jerky, though he approaches his bowl with a hint of caution. Kenny does have some special needs due to a diagnosis of hip dysplasia and a cruciate injury. He is currently receiving monthly treatment that has improved his mobility and stamina. This rambunctious pup is best suited for a home without cats and older children, as he tends to focus intensely on feline friends. Anyone considering Kenny should be ready for the commitment and joy of bringing a young dog into their life.
