About Tito
Tito is a spirited 6-year-old Shih Tzu/Maltese mix with a surprising amount of energy and agility for his age. He’s obsessed with squeak toys and will leap impressively to catch them, keeping things lively around the house. Tito loves playing fetch with his person and happily settles in next to you on the sofa—or right on your lap if you give him the chance. He’s sweet and friendly with other dogs, though he prefers being the center of your attention, and may do best as the only dog or with another pup who doesn’t compete for lap space. Tito loves being petted once he knows you and bonds strongly to his chosen human. He's reliable about doing his business outside and will use pee pads if needed. Tito is a handsome, loveable companion waiting for someone who appreciates his loyal and playful spirit. Kids in the home should be 13 or older. Adopters must be in Long Island, Westchester, NYC, or parts of Connecticut and able to meet Tito in person. Click apply to start the adoption process.
