SAN DIEGO, CA in SO CAL- 1 YR, 47 lb HANDSOME MALE CHOW “BAO BAO” IN NEED OF A LOVING, FOREVER HOME. OWNER UNFORTUNATELY CANNOT KEEP DUE TO BABY AND MILITARY SITUATION (please no negative comments, owner is at least asking for help to rehome) Please help us find a loving, forever home for this young man fondly named Bao Bao who was adopted as a puppy and has been living with a male corgi friend. Bao Bao is now approximately 1 year old and 47 lbs. The owner reports he is” friendly with people and dogs once he get to know them, but if he see a random dog on the street he is reactive.” The owners also reported no bites, but mentioned while he is okay with brushing his coat, he does not like other grooming such as when an air vacuum is used on him causing him to air snap. Unfortunately, the owner had not had a chow before, and with the husband in the military and gone often, and the wife is expecting a baby, they have no time to train him, and feel he is not an ideal family dog. A chow savvy home is recommended. Bao Bao has lived as an indoor dog, potty trained, and is already neutered, chipped and current on rabies. He has no known medical issues.
