About Sega
Meet Sega, a charming boy born on June 19, 2024, who exudes a calm and gentle demeanor. This sweet Siberian Husky tends to be a bit shy when meeting new people, preferring to take his time before interacting. Once he feels comfortable, Sega shows his affectionate side, nudging your hand to indicate where he'd like to be scratched. Sega is house trained and crate trained, displaying impressive manners indoors. Despite being a young dog, he prefers chilling on the couch rather than running around. He does have a tendency to howl if left alone for too long, especially when bored or seeking attention. Walks are a joy for him, though he might pull at the start due to excitement, so continued leash training is advisable. He’s well-versed in commands like sit, down, and shake, with ongoing work on stay. He enjoys durable chew toys, tennis balls, and long-lasting treats filled with peanut butter. Sega is also a water lover, sometimes needing a bowl handy before he'll eat. While Sega may fit well with another calm dog, intros should be slow, and feeding should happen separately due to a tendency to guard his food. His interactions with cats remain unknown. For Sega, a home with older, respectful children is ideal as he flourishes in a patient environment. While he doesn't specifically need a Husky expert, a family that is understanding and allows him time to adjust is important. Sega's affectionate nature is waiting for the right family to nurture it. If you feel you can provide that loving and secure home, Sega would love to meet you. Think you can be the one for him? Submit an application soon!
