About Tinker
Tinker came into rescue with several other dogs and puppies after her owner's insurance limited the number of pets she could keep. At about a year old, Tinker is a dachshund mix, and her long body and adorable paws certainly reflect that heritage. She's a sweet and gentle girl who loves to snuggle and is learning how to walk on a leash, though a harness would make it easier for her. Having been around dogs her whole life, Tinker should get along well with them and her easygoing nature makes her a good fit for homes with children. While we haven’t tested her with cats yet, her mild demeanor suggests she could adapt nicely with proper introductions. Tinker rode well to the vet, dazzling the staff with her charm, and weighs around 22.5 pounds. Now fully vetted and ready for a forever home, Tinker is looking for a family that will appreciate her gentle spirit.
