About Ruby
Ruby is a lively 2-year-old German Shepherd/Yorkshire Terrier mix who entered our rescue as an owner surrender. Weighing in at 24 pounds, this energetic girl loves to play, whether it's tug-of-war, running, jumping, or even swimming! She's happiest bouncing at the end of her leash or cuddling up next to you, as long as she gets the exercise she craves. Ruby is crate trained and enjoys car rides, and she gets along well with both cats and children. However, she's a bit selective with other dogs and prefers to assert her dominance. If you're someone with an active lifestyle, Ruby could be the perfect addition to your home. She’s ready to bring joy and companionship into your life! Come visit her at the Humane Society of Sandusky County during our viewing hours and experience her spirited personality for yourself. Click apply to start the adoption process.
