About Bagel
Bagel is a 10-year-old chocolate beagle who arrived at the rescue after his family could no longer care for him. He’s a charming gentleman with a gentle demeanor, perfectly content to follow his humans from room to room. House trained and well-behaved, he uses a doggie door without issue and has a clean record at his foster home. While Bagel loves his beagle siblings, he’d thrive as the only dog in a household where he can enjoy all the attention. He does experience some arthritis in his back legs that makes stairs a challenge, but he enjoys leisurely walks and keeps an eye on squirrels, even if he can't catch them anymore. Bagel is on medications for his joints, which HBHR will continue to provide after adoption. Overall, he’s a healthy, happy boy seeking a loving forever home with a nice yard to watch squirrels.
