Meet Thunder, the gentle giant with a silver coat and a heart of gold! This big boy is a six-year-old, 99-pound Silver Lab mix who’s ready to find his forever home. With his impressive size, you'll be pleased to know that Thunder is wonderfully well-mannered. He won’t be counter-surfing or jumping on guests, and he takes treats ever so gently. Thunder adores kids and is great with little ones of all ages. He thrives on companionship and loves to be part of any activity, showcasing his friendly, affectionate, and playful personality. A good game of fetch is one of his favorite pastimes. Although he currently lives with a cat and gets along beautifully with them, Thunder would also love to have a playful dog friend in his new abode. Being an active guy, Thunder needs a household that can keep up with his exercise demands. He enjoys expressing himself and can be a bit of a barker when he wants attention, making a single-family home in a suburban or rural area ideal for him. He’s mastered his basic commands like "sit," but because he can be a bit wiggly, positive reinforcement from an experienced owner would work wonders. Thunder is neutered, current on all vaccinations, housebroken, and walks well on a leash with just a bit of light pulling. He’s also fine staying home alone while his family is out.
