Rescued after being found tied to a tree in Cleveland, Texas, Lovey was severely underweight and deprived of food and water. After being surrendered, she received the vital care she needed from our veterinarian and has bounced back beautifully. Today, she’s thriving and full of love. Lovey adores people and has a friendly disposition. She loves to cuddle next to you whether you're on the couch or watching TV. While she’s typically easygoing, every now and again she surprises her foster family with playful bursts of energy, showing her fun-loving side. She enjoys playing with toys and can entertain herself for hours. Lovey is house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She gets along well with other dogs but tends to play a bit too rough, considering her solid 60-pound frame. A home as the only dog might be best for her, especially as she continues to learn her manners. Because she can get excited and jump around, a home without small children or frail adults would suit her best. At approximately 2 years old, Lovey is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. After everything she has been through, she deserves a loving home where she won’t have to worry about food, safety, or affection ever again.
