Meet Lovey, your potential new best friend! This resilient American Bully has already faced challenges that no dog should have to endure. Rescued after being found tied to a tree in Cleveland, Texas, she came to us severely underweight with little access to food or water. After her rescue, we ensured she received the care, nourishment, and love she desperately needed. Now, Lovey has made a remarkable recovery and is ready to embrace the warmth of a loving home. Settled in her foster family, she has quickly become a favorite. Lovey adores people—there's not a stranger she doesn't warm up to. Whether you're lounging on the couch or watching TV, she's happiest curled up next to you, soaking up all the affection. Though mostly laid-back, she has her playful moments, dashing around the house with a burst of energy or entertaining herself with her toys. Lovey is house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. While she's friendly with other dogs, her playful style can be a bit overwhelming due to her 60-pound frame, so she may be best suited for a home as the only dog. She still has some tidying up to do with her jumping when excited, so a home without small children or delicate adults is preferable while she learns those fine-tuned manners. At approximately 2 years old, Lovey is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She's poised to begin her next chapter with a family that will love her unconditionally. After everything she's endured, this sweet girl deserves a home where she will never wonder about her next meal or safe space again.
