About Martha
Martha is a lively 7-month-old, 19-pound Australian Cattle Dog mix with a charming personality and a knack for winning hearts. Although she doesn't have thumbs, her cleverness and affectionate nature often leave us wondering just how much she could accomplish if she did. Found starving and alone in a kennel, she's transformed into a healthy, playful pup who loves stuffies, chew toys, and, above all, snuggling with her humans. Initially a little shy, Martha quickly warms up to people, showing her affection with delightful body flops. She gets along well with children but would thrive in a home with kids over 10 due to her herding instincts. Martha is crate trained and gradually improving her potty skills. While she respects cats, she prefers dogs closer to her size, as larger dogs can intimidate her. Expected to reach under 30 pounds as an adult, she’s already showing great promise as a loyal companion. Her ideal adopter will be someone eager to engage with her through training, structure, and physical activity. Martha is ready for adventures, already being good on a leash and excited for outings. She's heartworm negative and current on her flea and heartworm preventatives. If you're seeking an endearing best friend, Martha is waiting for you. Let's get started on your journey together!
