About Ace
Ace is a young, deaf mixed-breed (Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler and Pit Bull Terrier) who pulls off the mysterious gentleman routine with a soft, squishy face and a comic flair. For Ace, deafness just shifts life to a silent film with more dramatic gestures—he’ll miss your words but catch every belly rub, snack, and wink you send his way. It takes him a little time to trust new faces, but once he’s comfortable, you get a wiggly, toy-carrying, nap-loving sidekick with plenty of goofball in him. He’s energetic and eager for someone patient who either knows hand signals or doesn’t mind inventing a new language together. Ace does well with respectful dogs but prefers older kids (10+) who get that he marches to a slightly different rhythm. He’s not looking for feline friends at the moment. If you’ve got a gentle home and a penchant for silent comedies, Ace—with his 30-pound frame and big-hearted antics—just might be your new favorite character. Ready to roll the dice on Ace?
