Duke is a 6-year-old Belgian Shepherd/Malinois mix who was found abandoned by the water in Oakland, alongside his companion Daisy. Recently neutered, he has gained 10 pounds since joining our rescue but is still underweight and in need of a foster until he finds a permanent home. Duke is looking for a household where he can be the only pet, as he doesn't get along with other animals. However, he excels in social situations with people and is known for his friendly demeanor. He's housetrained and ready to adapt to a loving environment. Duke’s journey to recovery has been possible through his microchip, which helped us reconnect with his previous owner.
