Sahara is part of the Rescue Ranch puppy foster program—so she’s already experienced plenty of handling by adults, children, and gets regular interaction with other dogs and sometimes cats. If she’s older than 16 weeks, she’s even participated in reading programs and public events for valuable socialization. Every pup in the program receives a thorough wellness check from a licensed vet at 8 weeks, plus routine deworming and vaccinations for parvo/distemper and Bordetella. If Sahara is four months or older, she will have received her rabies vaccination as well. All puppies, including Sahara, are microchipped and registered. Adopters are required to have Sahara spayed at the appropriate age; the procedure is covered by adoption, offering an extra layer of care.
