Dune, a young Belgian Shepherd / Malinois, starts life in Rescue Ranch’s puppy foster program, getting exposed to all sorts of experiences—adults, kids, and the usual batch of other dogs, sometimes even cats. By the time Dune reaches 16 weeks, he’ll have taken part in educational programs like “Reading to Rescue Pups” and attended local events, making him as social as a puppy gets. When he hits 8 weeks, a vet gives him a full wellness check, and his vaccinations are covered for everything age-appropriate, including protection from parvo, distemper, and Bordetella; if he's old enough, he gets his rabies shot too. Deworming, microchipping, and registering—these are all part of the package. Adopters are required to have Dune neutered between 6 and 8 months old, which is included in the adoption cost if it’s done with the rescue’s vet, or partially reimbursed if done by an adopter’s vet (with proof). Heartworm negative and fully vaccinated, Dune leaves Rescue Ranch healthy and ready for a new start.
