About Heidi
Heidi is currently in her foster home in Memphis, TN, but she will be transported to NJ once adopted. This stunning sable German Shepherd, estimated to be around 2-3 years old and weighing about 75 pounds, is energetic and intelligent, making her a fantastic jogging or activity partner for someone with an active lifestyle. Fully house-trained and eager to learn—especially when treats are involved—Heidi loves her chew toys. She thrives in a stable environment where she can enjoy regular exercise and attention. Due to her size and strength, it's best for her to have a home without young children, cats, or small dogs. While Heidi prefers to be the only pet, she may get along with a calm, well-matched canine companion with proper introductions. Although she can tolerate short periods in a crate, she’s happiest when she has the space to move around and be part of the family. Friendly with people, Heidi is ready to bond with someone who can provide her with structure, love, and plenty of activities. She is fully vetted, including spaying, microchipping, and all dog vaccinations. The adoption fee is covered, which includes transportation to her new family in NJ.
