Sammie is in his foster home in Memphis, TN, and will be transported to Maryland once he is adopted. Hey there, I’m Sammie! I’m a social butterfly who loves every dog I meet and truly hope my future home has other pups to play with. Some of my favorite times in foster care are snuggling, playing, and, of course, dinner time—I'm a champ at cleaning my plate! I’m quite curious about my feline housemate, but I promise I remain polite. I know 'sit' and adore a good game of fetch. Give me a backyard, and I’ll run until nap time comes. My furry and human friends in foster care think I'm a great companion. I'm working on mastering the leash and reducing barking, but I’m great at getting into my crate when asked. If you have a couch and endless love, I’m ready to become part of your family! Sammie is 4-5 years old and weighs 65 lbs.
