About Brownie
Meet Brownie! Brownie brings together loyal dedication and a fun-loving, goofy streak in a medium-sized Lab and Rottweiler mix. She stands out with a classic ear flip, expressive eyes, and a knack for brightening up even the longest day. Brownie will stick by your side for every momentâwhether that's romping in the yard, tossing around her favorite toys, or tagging along for a car ride. She enjoys active play but also knows when to settle down and just be near her person. She recently finished a board and train program, so you'll get a dog with excellent basicsâBrownie is eager to please and responds best to clear direction and consistency. She does best with adopters who are ready to reinforce positive habits and give her the structure and calm she thrives in. Brownie is house trained and up to date on vaccinations, and as a spayed female, she's ready for her new chapter. True to her breed mix, sheâs naturally alert and protective. You may notice her barking at new sounds, but that's normal for her combination and improves with routine and introductions. Brownie gets along well with other dogs, especially after slow introductions. She isnât suited to a home with cats. She will bond deeply with her people, showing real devotion once she trusts you. A lower-traffic, stable home is her ideal setting, with someone who appreciates confident, active breeds and is willing to keep up her training. Brownie is currently fostered in Texas, but she can be transported to Brookeville, MD or another agreed-upon location after completing adoption steps.
