Meet Arlo! This handsome 4-year-old Beagle/Pit Bull mix is a loving soul who weighs about 60 pounds. He has been a cherished member of his family since he was just 4 months old. Arlo thrives on affection and enjoys cuddling, giving hugs, and sharing moments with his favorite people. He is house-trained and knows basic commands, showcasing his calm and well-mannered nature around the house. As a sensitive dog, Arlo prefers a predictable environment. Over time, he has grown uncomfortable around some children, developing fear-based behaviors. We believe he would be happiest in an adult-only home with a patient adopter who can help him build confidence and feel secure. Arlo can also be choosy when it comes to other dogs. Having successfully lived with a 25-pound canine companion, he tends to be more at ease with smaller dogs. It’s essential to approach introductions slowly and manage interactions thoughtfully. This decision has been truly heartbreaking for Arlo's family, as they deeply love him. They are dedicated to finding the right home where he can continue to be the loyal companion they know and cherish. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
