About Chet
Chet is a charming 1-year-old Terrier mix, weighing 15 pounds. He has a lively personality and gets along beautifully with everyone he meets, both people and dogs alike. Rescued from the Stanislaus Shelter as a stray, he was at risk for euthanasia due to space constraints. His joyful nature captured the attention of the staff, and we knew he deserved a chance. Chet thrives on making new canine friends, especially the larger breeds. After some playful time, his favorite activity is curling up in a lap for cozy snuggles. He's affectionate and growing more confident every day, improving on the leash and checking in for guidance. With plenty of exercise, he could adapt well to apartment living, although he tends to bark if he gets bored. He settles comfortably in his crate after about 10 minutes and enjoys his ball dearly, eagerly chasing after it during walks. As a foster dog, he has shown he is great with resident dogs and has a moderate prey drive. Chet is ready for a loving home where his excitement and energy will be welcomed. There’s no better time to make a new friend!
