❄️ Meet Glacier! 🐾 Some dogs see the world with their eyes, but Glacier sees it with his heart. Born on April 3, 2026, this extraordinary Australian Shepherd and Catahoula mix navigates life without sight and hearing, yet he hasn’t let that hold him back. He can differentiate between light and dark and explores his surroundings with remarkable confidence, curiosity, and resilience. Splashing in kiddie pools, playing with his favorite toys, and cuddling on the couch are some of Glacier's favorite activities. He gives the sweetest hugs and sleeps through the night, waking only when he needs to go out. As a house companion, he’s exceptional; not destructive and quite well-mannered. He can safely be left loose at home and rides wonderfully in the car. Outside, he navigates his yard by mapping it out with his paws, understanding when it’s safe to continue and when to stop. While he requires a bit of extra patience as he adjusts to new environments, Glacier settles in beautifully once he gets to know his surroundings and his family. A home with few or no stairs would be ideal, as they can be intimidating for him. Introductions to young children and cats will happen soon, as he’s great with other dogs too. Glacier thrives on touch cues — a gentle tap on the shoulder says "look here," and a light tap on his tail helps him to sit. He’s excited to learn and engages well with those who are willing.
