This baby boy, born on April 3, 2026, boasts a mix of Australian Shepherd and Catahoula Leopard Dog in his genes, but he's also deaf, which makes him even more special. Asher communicates through hand signals and body language, often paying more attention than those who can hear. This handsome fella is not only outgoing but incredibly smart and just a tad goofy. His idea of a good time includes playing with other dogs and learning new things. When it’s time to slow down, Asher will snuggle up against his favorite human for a cozy nap, offering gentle nudges and puppy kisses along the way. He thrives on physical connection and will quickly become your ultimate velcro pup. Asher is making great strides in his training, which includes crate training, potty training, and leash manners. He understands hand signals for commands like No, Come, and Sit, and he's quick to respond to cues that keep him safe and sound. Consistency is key for him, especially with his training using a vibration collar and flashlight signals. Asher enjoys playing with dogs that match his energy level but is respectful of those that need their space. A secure, fenced yard is a must, as he has a curiosity for what lies beyond that fence. He also has a healthy prey drive, so it's best if there are no small animals or poultry around. Because he’s still a playful puppy, he’s not recommended for homes with young children, but he gets along well with older kids. His strong personality means he needs an experienced owner who's willing to invest in his training and provide guidance.
