About Buck
Buck is ready to steal your heart—and his adoption fee is waived thanks to Tito's Handmade Vodka, making it a breeze for you to bring him home! Buck is a charming blend of energy and relaxation. He adores all kinds of chew toys, with squeaky tennis balls being his top pick. Whether playing fetch, exploring the yard for sticks, or enjoying a car ride, Buck is the epitome of joy, especially when it comes to belly rubs. He gets along well with larger dogs, given slow, proper introductions, and is a great companion for another active dog. However, he does need a cat-free environment. Initially a bit insecure, Buck will stick close until he feels comfortable. Once he bonds with you, he’ll happily follow your lead. He enjoys lounging at the foot of your bed and can be left alone during the day without issue! A quieter home with a fenced backyard would suit him best, especially as he’s still learning to navigate his leash reactivity, particularly around noisy vehicles. He thrives in an active household without small children—his playful jumps can be a bit much for tiny ones. If you're looking for a loyal, playful buddy who knows how to cuddle, Buck is your guy. Plus, with the Welcome Trial program, you can take him home for up to 14 days to see if you’re a perfect fit. Ready to meet Buck? He can't wait to greet you!
