About Indy
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Indy is a lovable, energetic, and playful American Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier mix who was rescued after being abandoned. Currently being fostered, Indy is living with an older, easily stressed small dog and two kittens—though his curiosity in the kittens means he would be best as the only pet or possibly with another large dog. Indy is happiest when he's active, enjoying fetch and adventures, and he is known for being super friendly and sweet-natured with everyone he meets. He loves car rides, does well in the bath, and is especially food and treat motivated, making him very receptive to training. Indy is house trained, crate-trained, and is already working on his sit and leash skills. At around 3-4 years old and currently underweight at 70 lbs, he's working on reaching a healthier weight. He has a gentle heart and is sure to be a devoted companion to the right person or family, especially those who enjoy plenty of activity and fun. Indy is neutered and his heartworm treatment is fully paid for and underway. If you're looking for a loyal adventure buddy, Indy is ready to share all his love. Ready to fall in love?
