She is house trained, vaccinated, and has special needs following her heart surgery. Currently located in Columbus, OH, she's looking for a loving home that can help her grow and thrive. Landlubber has a playful demeanor and is known to get along well with other dogs. Although she isn’t spayed yet, the ASPCA will coordinate that for her soon. Weight details will follow as she continues to adjust in her new environment.

Continued training will help channel her enthusiasm into more refined greetings and playtime interactions. A smart girl by nature, she’s eager to learn and already knows the sit command. Plus, with her treat motivation, you can make training sessions both fun and rewarding. Long, sniff-filled walks excite Landlubber as she explores the world around her. While she adores people, she shows some hesitation in unfamiliar situations due to her past experiences in a suspected cruelty case. With a little patience and encouragement, she continues to build her confidence and reveal her joyful personality. Landlubber has a friendly rapport with other dogs, often enjoying bouncy games of chase. After overcoming a heart condition through successful surgery, she’s bounced back and is expected to live a happy, normal life. Regular vet check-ups will ensure she remains in great shape. While she needs to wait a bit longer before her spay surgery, the ASPCA will cover the cost and schedule it for her.
