Slimp is a spirited 3-year-old who weighs 20 pounds. He arrived at us from a challenging situation and lacked essential details about his past. Since coming to the rescue, we removed all the fleas and ticks that plagued him. Though he has luxating patellas in both back legs, this doesn’t deter Slimp. His unique way of walking doesn’t hinder his ability to run, play, and explore his surroundings. After a thorough vet check, surgery was deemed unnecessary since he shows no signs of pain; he just needs lifelong joint supplements and to avoid excessive jumping. With a vibrant personality, Slimp loves being the center of attention. He enjoys the company of other dogs and easily makes friends with everyone he meets.
