About Mouse
Mouse is ready to be someone’s ultimate lap dog. This sweet female red merle toy Australian Shepherd is about 3 years old and weighs approximately 15 pounds. She is currently fostered in Ringwood, IL. Mouse is a quiet and timid dog, learning and growing in her foster home. She loves to be cuddled and responds well to being picked up. Her house manners are impressive, making her a great companion. Though she’s been shy around her larger foster siblings, she shows promise in interacting with dogs her size. With no prey drive and a low food motivation, Mouse will thrive with a patient adopter who can help her explore the world—one small step at a time. On leash walks, she prefers to stay close, making sure her human leads the way. Mouse will do best in a home with a physically fenced yard and should be in an adult-only environment. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and on a monthly prevention plan for fleas, ticks, and heartworms. A committed adopter should expect to engage her for 1-2 hours of physical and mental stimulation each day. Click apply to start the adoption process.
