He came to rescue due to some unfortunate incidents with chickens, but don't let that scare you away; Soma is an incredibly sweet boy who is building his confidence in his foster home. He loves to cuddle, making him a big lap dog at heart. Soma is crate and house trained, excels on leash, and knows commands like sit, come, and stay. His car rides are a breeze, and he's a fan of grooming sessions. Though he's enjoying his time at the dog park, he can be a bit shy around strangers and will take his time to warm up, so a home with children over 10-12 years old is preferable. Soma would thrive in a fenced yard and could share his home with a more submissive dog, but he can also be an only pet. Due to his past experiences, small animals are not a good fit for him.
