About Appa
Appa is a striking Husky mix who is eager to train and bond with his people. This confident dog knows commands like sit, down, heel, stay, and leave it, and he's ready to learn even more skills to keep his mind engaged. Appa is motivated by both food and toys, but he also loves curling up on the couch for a cozy nap. Originally trained as a service dog, Appa struggles a bit when he spots other dogs while on leash or behind fences. He would thrive in a home with a yard where he can relax without worrying about other dogs nearby. Appa enjoys being around people and may do well with a calm dog or a confident cat, as he's previously lived with a small, older dog. Because of his size and strength, he's more suited for homes without young children. Weighing in at 70 lbs, Appa is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300, which includes two private training sessions with one of our trainers. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
