About Acadia
Acadia is an 8-year-old husky mix with a big personality and even bigger heart. His previous home changed when a new cat arrived—a situation that Acadia, true to his breed, just wasn’t cut out for. Now he’s on the lookout for a place where he can kick back, go on walks, and share goofy moments with someone who gets his husky quirks. Mornings are a highlight for Acadia; he’ll greet you with a happy bounce and sometimes a joyful howl as he comes out of his crate. He enjoys the company of female dogs and gets along with calm males, but he’s just as comfortable as a solo companion. Acadia isn’t one to test fences or try daring escapes; he’s respected both chainlink and privacy fencing in his foster home. He’s potty trained, fully vetted, and his adoption fee is already covered. Please note, Acadia does not get along with cats, so his next home should be feline-free. Give Acadia the chance to enjoy his golden years with someone who appreciates a laid-back, loving husky. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
