About Jazzy

Meet Jazzy, a joyful 6-year-old female hound mix who joined us when her owner had to move. At first, Jazzy was a bit scared and hesitant in her new surroundings, but with a little coaxing—thanks to McDonald's cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets—she quickly warmed up and became the wiggliest, friendliest dog around. Her affection for her caretakers is heartwarming; she truly wants to be your sidekick. Jazzy is medium-sized, currently weighing just over 50 pounds, though she'd be healthier at around 45. While she's protective of her space and people, it's manageable. She previously shared her home with another dog, who has since been adopted, and Jazzy seems to get along well with the other dogs here. Her interactions with cats and children are still unknown.
