Copper is a cheerful and loving Pembroke Welsh Corgi, around 7 and a half years old, who weighs about 25 lbs. This gentleman adores snuggles, playtime, and just being around his people. He’s a fetch enthusiast, showing off his toys with wild growls and delightful short-legged dances. Whether he’s romping about or settling down for cuddles, Copper is always up for bonding time. With a big bark and a spirited personality, Copper has some strong feelings about things like strangers and the all-important ball. He’s working on managing his vocal tendencies, so a home with shared walls might not be ideal. Food guarding is also a concern for him, but he’s learning the ropes of sharing with a gentle approach. Smart and food-motivated, he enjoys activities like puzzle toys that let him show off his cleverness. Copper is crate trained, though he prefers sleeping on a dog bed or sharing the human bed, where he’ll want some evening hugs and belly rubs. He's potty trained and up-to-date on shots. Given his past experience, Copper needs a home without children or visiting kids, and while he has not been tested with cats, he gets along with other dogs after a proper introduction.
