Ollie is fully house trained and neutered, and he's current on vaccinations. He’s doing well within his foster setup in Boulder, CO.
About Ollie
Ollie is about 3 years old and weighs around 23 lbs. This neutered male, a charming mix of Dachshund and Corgi, is a delightful character with a big heart. He loves to show off his favorite toys and enjoys snuggling with his people. Ollie has made wonderful progress in his confidence since joining his foster family. His trust in people has grown immensely, allowing him to explore and relax in his new environment. He’s become more sociable with dogs too. Ollie initially felt a bit shy around larger dogs, but he’s now jumping into introductions with a wagging tail. Just remember to take it slow and let him adjust. He even cohabitates with a cat, making their space work with a cautious but friendly demeanor. Ollie is crate trained and comfortably spends time in there, plus he rides well in the car for those mini-adventures. He's mastered house training and walks pretty well on a leash, though he can get a bit excited chasing after bunnies. His training is progressing well, and he’s picking up commands like “place” and “down.” While Ollie can be a bit shy around new people, he warms up quickly once he knows he’s safe. He is currently receiving treatment for heartworm, but it’s manageable, and he’s thriving! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
