About Sweet Potato

Sweet Potato is a charming girl who can be a bit shy at first, but she quickly warms up and reveals her sweet personality. She loves to lean into people for pets and enjoys scratches all over her body. Her playful side shines through when she gets the silliest zoomies! Recently, Sweet Potato went on a Dog's Day Out field trip to Gray's Lake. She enjoyed playing in the water with kids and was great about letting them approach her for pets. After a fun playtime, she settled down nicely with her human friend on a blanket, watching the world go by. On a leash, she displays confidence and excitement about going outside. While she may take some time to warm up to new dogs, she tends to gravitate towards certain dogs and would benefit from a slow introduction to new friends. Sweet Potato is also part of a 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program, so you can see if she’s the right fit for you. Ready to add this delightful companion to your life?
