About Doug Dimmadome
Doug Dimmadome is a wonderful companion waiting for a connection. Part of our "Missed Connections" club, he has patiently waited for a forever home. This guy prefers the cozy comfort of a couch to high-energy play sessions, occasionally enjoying short walks and relaxation time. He’s incredibly food-motivated, making training an enjoyable task for him. Doug knows commands like sit, down, and go to place; his leash manners are impeccable. Although he can get easily excited, he responds well to redirection and has a knack for sitting automatically when treats are around. While in a foster home, he was both kenneled and free-roaming, proved to be cuddly, and was fully potty trained. He’s looking for a calm, adult-only home where patient individuals can help him settle in. Doug enjoys interacting with compatible dogs, although dog intros are necessary to ensure a positive experience. Fun fact: Doug is 58% American Staffordshire Terrier, 25% American Pit Bull Terrier, and 17% Staffordshire Bull Terrier, according to DNA testing. He may have allergies, more information can be obtained at ARL. If you’re interested in offering him a loving home, don’t hesitate. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
