Sadie
AvailableSadie is a medium-sized, spayed female who is a Mountain Cur/Beagle mix. She is an adult in Crystal, MN, and is house trained. She has some special needs due to age-related incontinence, but this is well-managed. Sadie gets along with dogs and older kids but should not be in a home with cats.
About Sadie
Sadie is a quirky, spunky senior girl with a big personality. After surviving neglect and abandonment in rural Kentucky, she’s made an incredible comeback. Sadie comes alive outside, zipping around like a racehorse—she’s agile and loves to run, explore, and especially chase at the dog park. Her playful dominance is all about encouraging a good chase; she barks at other dogs not out of aggression but to get them running with her. Indoors, she transforms into a snuggler, curling up in a blanket or her bed and savoring a bully stick. Sadie is housebroken, quiet (except for the occasional alert at the window), and handles herself well inside. She needs a secure, six-foot fence in her yard—she’s a master climber when low fences are around. She won’t do well with cats (she’s a real squirrel enthusiast), but she does great with other dogs and older kids. Sadie attends the dog park regularly and enjoys the company of a range of dogs, though she prefers to take charge. At home, she’s loving and affectionate, doting on her people. She does have a bit of random incontinence linked to age, but daily medicine helps manage this. Sadie is one of a kind: sweet, spirited, and full of southern charm.
