After initially coming from the commercial pet trade and facing health challenges, he's made a remarkable recovery thanks to love and medical care. Leroy embodies joy and affection. His foster mom describes him as a tiny curly-haired pogo stick when he's happy, which is quite often. Weighing just over 8 pounds, he's playful, intelligent, and eager to please. Leroy enjoys toys, puzzle games, snuffle mats, and respectfully wrestling with his foster siblings. He gets along well with large and small dogs, both male and female, and even cats. Whether in a multi-pet household or as the only pet, he thrives on companionship but is also content to relax independently. Affectionate but not clingy, Leroy loves face kisses and cuddles. He's crate trained, rides well in the car, and has started to pick up basic commands like sit. Though he’s about 80% potty trained, he’s learning to communicate his needs more clearly.
