Meet ILTrier, a lovely 4-year-old orange and white Brittany Spaniel who has truly earned a fresh start. This sweet girl, affectionately called "Little Lady" in her foster home, is gentle and loving. Once she builds trust, she enjoys nudging your hand for pets and following you around the house, seeking companionship. Originally part of a large owner surrender, Trier didn't get to experience the joys of a cozy home or a loving family before coming to her foster care. Everyday comforts like toys and soft beds are new to her, so she can be a bit timid and anxious at times. Nevertheless, she's also curious and becoming braver day by day. Outdoors is where she truly thrives, whether she's relaxing in her doggie pool or exploring the grass and bugs around her. Trier is finding her way as she learns to be a dog. She's making great strides in house-training and adapts well to basic commands and positive reinforcement. Walks on a leash are pleasant; she doesn’t pull and relishes everything through her nose. While she's been gentle with her foster family's toddler, she will need a family that understands her need for a quieter environment during overwhelming moments. Another friendly dog in the home would be a wonderful help for Trier, as she loves having a canine role model. She gets along well with other dogs and respectful kids, though her compatibility with cats is still a mystery. This lovely girl needs a family that can offer her a secure, fenced yard and understands that building trust takes time. A kiddie pool would certainly make her day!
