About Kix
Meet Kix, a wonderfully unique little Chihuahua who’s bound to steal your heart. At just a month old, he brings a special charm that makes him stand out. Kix came to us with some unusual little legs, which we suspect didn’t fully develop when he first began to move around. Thanks to the dedicated care from his foster mom, he’s growing stronger and gaining more confidence week by week. Despite the occasional floppy moment, he zooms around like a tiny puppy maniac, and with continued activity, he’s set to lead a happy, active life. Kix is a sensitive soul who can get overwhelmed by loud noises and unfamiliar experiences. He’s vocal about his worries, especially when it comes to the dishwasher, but with gentle encouragement, he’s learning that the world can be a friendly place. He appreciates having a little personal space during mealtime and is fine around other pets as long as they respect his dining boundaries. While he enjoys quiet alone time with his toys, Kix is also happy to be close to you rather than being carried around. As all puppies do, he still needs support with house training, manners, and essential skills to thrive. Due to his delicate nature, Kix is best suited for a home without young children. He’d thrive with adults, and maybe even some teens, who can help nurture his blossoming personality. This little guy might not be perfectly round like the cereal he's named after, but he's every bit as wholesome. Kix deserves a loving family that will embrace every charming quirk of his personality.
