About Sierra
Meet Sierra! She's a striking 9-month-old mystery mix with a beautiful brindle coat. At around 25 pounds, she's the ideal medium-sized pup, still figuring out her confidence. Sierra is a bit shy and takes her time to warm up to new faces and places. However, her sweet personality truly shines once she feels safe. She enjoys chewing on bones and squeaky toys, zipping around the yard, and playing with other dogs. A confident canine friend would help her feel at ease, but Sierra will also flourish with a patient adopter who can support her growth. Currently, she's doing well with housetraining and settles nicely in her crate with some encouragement. Overall, she is quiet, only whining when she needs to go outside. This eager learner is also food-motivated, making training sessions a fun experience. To keep her secure while she gains confidence, Sierra will require a well-fitting harness or slip lead, as she can get nervous in unfamiliar surroundings. She's best suited to older, respectful children and a securely fenced yard for safe play. Sierra is seeking a caring individual who understands that shy puppies need time, patience, and love. Witnessing her discover the world is safe will be a rewarding journey, and in return, she'll offer unwavering loyalty and companionship. If you’re ready to help this deserving pup flourish, Sierra can’t wait to meet you! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
