About Maple
Meet Maple, a 4.5-year-old German Shepherd ready to find her forever home! This calm and gentle girl is just as comfortable lounging in her bed as she is following her humans around. She thrives on affection—especially belly rubs—and is eager to connect with her family. Maple is intelligent and quickly learns commands like sit, stay, down, and come. She walks beautifully on leash without pulling and prefers to stay close to her people. Although she enjoys playtime and the occasional romp at the dog park, she is mostly a relaxed dog who loves good long walks and curling up at home. An ideal home for Maple would be one without other dogs or cats, and with kids aged 10 and up; she has a tendency to herd. She’s crate trained but often doesn’t need it, as she doesn’t destroy things and is well-behaved. Maple is potty trained too! While she can be slightly reactive on leash, she responds well to corrections. Having recently visited the groomer and vet, she did wonderfully around strangers and was very gentle when taking treats. Maple is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. Maple is looking for a loving, stable environment where she can thrive. With past experience in a foster home, she is ready to be your loyal companion. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
