About Katy
Meet Katy, a purebred German Shepherd with a heart of gold. After losing her beloved owner, she found herself in a difficult situation, but now she's ready to find her forever family. Katy is 3 years old, fully house trained and crate trained, with incredible recall and knowledge of basic commands. Her loyalty shines through; she simply wants to make you happy, often needing little more than your companionship as a reward. Katy loves car rides and is comfortable whether on a long road trip or a quick coffee run. She's athletic, truly enjoying long walks, runs, and even some splashing in the water. While she thrives on exercise, she also enjoys lounging on the couch or keeping you company while you work. Currently fostered in Powhatan, VA, she has no issues with off-leash walking or running, but would do best in a home with prior experience with German Shepherds, focusing on her continued socialization and exercise needs. Katy is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $375, helping cover her care while in foster. Ready to meet this sweet girl?
